In the view of Islam, education and knowledge are basic needs for every Muslim. And both of them are the most fundamental conditions for living this life, in order to obtain happiness in this world and in the hereafter. The urgency of knowledge and education in the Islamic religion cannot even be realized. Because the Prophet Muhammad through his hadith ordered Muslims to study and seek knowledge from birth to death. This means that knowledge and education cannot be separated from the life of the Muslim community. In order for the learning process to get ideal results, it is necessary to hold the right learning method. One of the Islamic thinkers named Imam Al-Ghazali then formatted the model of Islamic education. According to him, there are five ideal models of education. Namely starting from mapping the main orientation of Islamic education. Then, an educator must improve intentions and become a role model for his students. Furthermore, students need to straighten their sincere intentions to learn and expect the pleasure of Allah SWT. Then, create an educational schedule and curriculum. And lastly, mapping the environment and climate in which to study. Among the five factors that influence the educational model according to Al-Ghazali's version. The fourth factor, namely the preparation of the curriculum and the adjustment of theory and material to the age of the students, is an educational model that has been internalized in the education system in Indonesia for quite a long time. and until now it is still relevant to be applied in the education system in Indonesia.
