Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of student management at RA Yaa Bunayya Tanjungpinang and identify supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The research subjects included the principal, teachers, administrative staff, and cleaning staff. The results show that student management at RA Yaa Bunayya has been implemented through systematic planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. The student admission process is carried out through a simple selection process that considers the child's readiness and is designed within an Islamic values-based curriculum. The implementation of learning uses a play-based learning approach that encourages cognitive, social-emotional, and religious development. Evaluation is carried out through regular observations and reporting of children's progress to parents. The main supporting factors in the implementation of student management include the commitment of the principal and teachers, active parental involvement, and solid teamwork. Obstacles faced include limited learning facilities, a lack of teacher training to handle children with special needs, and suboptimal communication with parents. This study concluded that student management at RA Yaa Bunayya has a positive impact on the holistic development of early childhood. Improved facilities, teacher training, and the use of communication technology are needed to make student management more effective.
